The Song of Scorpions is a Swiss-French-Singaporean language dramatic film from Rajasthani. Directed by Anup Singh and produced by Michel Merkt, Shahaf Peled & Saskia Vischer. The film stars Golshifteh Farahani, Irrfan Khan, Waheeda Rehman, Shashank Arora, Sara Arjun, Shefali Bhushan, and Tillotama Shome in the title roles. The Song of Scorpions had its world premiere at the 70th Locarno Film Festival in Locarno, Switzerland on August 9, 2017.

Irrfan Khan’s latest film, The Song Of Scorpions, is scheduled for release next year. The film is written and directed by Anup Singh. The Song Of Scorpions, which also stars Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani and veteran Bollywood actor Waheeda Rehman, had its premiere at the 70th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland in 2017. However, it hasn’t had a theatrical release yet. Irrfan Khan played the role of a camel merchant in the film.
Irrfan Khan, the star of international films such as Life Of Pi, The Amazing Spider-Man, returned to Mumbai a few months ago after surgery and treatment in London. Irrfan Khan is survived by his wife and his two sons, Babil and Ayan. He died at the age of 53 at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on April 29. He had been battling cancer and his health worsened after a colon infection.
